July 1st 2017 is especially unique as it marks 20 years since the Handover of Hong Kong's sovereignty from the United Kingdom to China. On this day, people celebrated, people protested, people held hopes, people held discontent. This visual documentary captures the roller coaster ride of emotions Hongkongers went through on this day, and in the past 20 years.
